class like a professional. Similarly, there are dos and don’ts of every place. Airport is a busy place and to make it convenient for people, it has its dos and don’ts as well. When everyone abides by the rules there exists no inconvenience and everything seems in order. These dos and don’ts discussed below relate to individual’s actions who is about to fly and general actions that should or should not be done.
Dos and Don’ts at the Airport
First of all, everyone present at the airport must know what they are doing. Get yourself familiar with the procedures and places before you leave for the airport. Grab a trolley and put your luggage safely in it. Carrying it all the way to the lounge is not advised and may also make you tired even before the long flight. Cooperate with the airport staff especially with the personnel on the security checkpoints. Never feel reluctant to get yourself examined for drugs, weapons or any such material. People there are deployed for your safety. Cooperate, and it gets done in matter of moments. To make it less troubling experience, avoid wearing jewelry or other clothing that would set off metal detectors. This would then require further examination and would make you feel uncomfortable. When you finally reach the lounge, sit near the door through which you are going to board the plane. Never rush when there is a call to board, make a queue and wait for your turn. These are some of the dos that will make your life easier at an airport.
Now there are some things that you should avoid doing at an airport. Refuse to carry someone else’s luggage in any circumstances. You do not know them and they might have explosives in their luggage for all you know. Do not stand near an unattended bag pack as well. Never leave sight of your luggage on the airport too. People tend to wait for their turn in the queue for security check and do not get rid of the items that would set off metal detectors. It is a blunder that wastes everyone’s time. Never wait for your turn and take off the watch, belt etc. and get your boarding pass and passport in your hand. This makes the process smooth for everyone. Do not look lost on the airport and make someone get advantage of you. Ensure you know all these don’ts before you leave for the airport. Make life convenient for others and yours will be the bed of roses as well.
